You start off as Mai (the brown haired girl). There's not much to do at first, so go where you can and talk to everyone. In the far right of your school, there is a guy with a kendo stick and sunglasses. He will heal you and allow you to save (Save YES / Save NO / Level Check). After you have talked to everyone, go to the other building on the left and go to the closed door on the first floor. Talk to the guy on the left, then talk to Hikari (the blue haried girl on the right), then talk to the guy in the middle. After some text, Hikari will join you. Now the fun begins. Once Hikari joins you, you will start finding enemies to attack. They are pretty weak on this level and will offer little challenge (even at level 1). Once you have become bored, go and talk to the guy in the lower far right of this area (where the blue sphere is) and you will go to another area. In this area there is a save area on the far right again. the lower area has a place where you can buy things, and in the lower right of this lower area (looks like a soccer field) is the boss for part 1. Level up a bit before trying to attack him. Level 3 or 4 for both girls should be enough to do it. Use your Kendo Magic and Mai to heal as needed. After beating the boss and you exit the field you will be transported back to the original area that you started in. Part 1 is finished. Boss strategy: Use Mai's first Kendo Magic (10 points) and Hikari's second Kendo Magic (20 points). Once Hikari's MP runs out, either use her her first kendo magic, or just do straight attacks. Use Mai's healing magic as needed. Part 2. You'll be back in the area where you started. Enemies will be much harder (and start coming in multiples). Most of the building entrances will be blocked. If you talk to the guy in front of the building where Hikari joined you, you will be let in (in fact that guy will join you). More of this building will be available to you now as well, so start climbing the stairs (in the basement you'll find a shop if you need some healing items). On floor two (upper right) you will encounter three bosses. You'll battle the first two and then get unsuited, so feel free to expend your kendo magic (althoghu be sure to leave some MP for healing in round 2). After you beat the first two, Saya (the orange haired girl) will come to the rescue. Use her kendo magic on every round until it runs out, then just straight hits. Finish off the bosses and you've finished off Part 2. Part 3. Go and save witohut doing any exploring. Then return to the building on the far left. Go to the roof and battle a boss (easy). After you beat him your dog will join your team. Go down to the second floor and follow the green brain to the next transport sphere. You will now be in a new area. There are two houses that you can go into at first. The first is right of where you start. There is a recover and save person here, as well as a store. After you have saved go to the house north of this one. You'll get a bunch of cinemas (etc). And eventually have to battle two back to back bosses. Use all of your Kendo magic as regular attacks will do little damage. After beating them. Go back and save, and exit in the NE area of this town. You'll basically be in a forest/ice maze, so keep making your way to the top. Near the top, you'll see a long path on the far left side that goes both up and down, before you go up, be sure to take the path to the right to "overhear" the plan. then proceed up to meet a few bosses that you met before. 2 the first time, then the robot guy. After you beat him, it's the end of this part. Part 4. You'll be unable to go back down the mountain (for now), so go in. Another small maze, and then exit out the other side. There is a store/hotel where you emerge, use it. Then go north into the amusement/pirate area. ...before you enter there, LEVEL UP. You will need it. In this part you will be split up; Hikari and her dog will go one direction and Saya and Mai will go another. Hikari's quest is first. You will meet up with Mai's Doppelganger who will lead you through several areas where you have to battle 1 enemy each time. Then you will go onto a pirate ship where you need to defeat all three pirates on board. Finally you will battle the Doppelganger herself. Use all you kendo magic on the doppleganger (as that will be the last you'll need it befoer the next save). After you beat the doppelganger you'll move to Mai and Saya's quest. .. For Mai and Saya you will have on ebattle, but it is TOUGH. the guy from earlier will join you against a boss. this boss can land hits of 1200+ and 650+ per turn, so always keep your characters HP up. Use all your Kendo magic (use the 20 MP spells as the higher one do no additioanl damage), and when that runs out, move to regualr attacks (leaving enough MP for healing). Once you beat this guy your group will get back together and you'll get teleported back to the area where you started. Part 5. This part is easy. When you start, Todo will come and harass you for a bit, then you'll hear a loud clunk. Your party will be taken to the sewer entrance in the north part of the town. You may want to save before progressing too far, but this part is easy and short. On the firds floor, you will want to work your way to the lower left stairs. Go down to the second basement floor, where you will encounter the boss that you beat in the second part of Part 4. Just use your Kendo magic on him and heal as needed; I beat him without healing once, infact he onyl laid one hit on anyone in my party). Part 6. Now would be a good time to level up. Many of the enemies in this area are not only strong, but appear in mutiples (up to 6). If you go hang out in the Save place, you can level up nicely. Okay, so you've gotten yourself leveled up a bit. ..go and talk to everyone. Then when you're ready to move on, go to the lower left screen, and go into the upper left corner. Part 7. Underwater fun. ..you'll start off battling a familiar boss. Don't waste too much of your kendou magic on her as she will run away before you get a chance to finish her off. South of where you start has a store/hotel. North or where you start is a shipwreck where the boss went to (and is waiting for you). Once you beat her, she will again run away from you. (Feel free to frequent the hotel in between these boss encounters). Make your way through the sunken ship until you find this boss one more time. This will be the last encounter with her on this round, so give her all the keno magic you have. Part 8. Back at the starting area. The next transporatation sphere is in the basement of the original building that you started in. Immediately upon arriving at your next destination, you will meet the next boss to battle; Nurse Nightengale she's not. After you beat her, you can exit from eitehr the lower left or lower right, exit first to the left. You will be in the infirmiry. Nothing to do here, but look im between the second and thrid beds on the upper row. Then go back and exit on the lower right. You'll be in a city. There is an Inn and a Shop, and a pasture with some cows. Go into the pasture, talk to all the cows and then proceed to the palace in the middle of the pasture. Upon entering you will meet the (well endowed) boss of the tower. You then need to climb to the 5th floor to fight her. She is TOUGH. Use your strongest kendo attacks on her. When done, go back down the tower. Optionally save, and then in front of the nurse's home will be a transportation sphere to take you back. Part 9. Back at the starting area. Not much to do here. Other than the save area, there is only one other place to go; the building to the right of the save area. So go there. A gymnist boss will block your way. Beat her to get to the next transporation sphere. You'll find yourself in prison. Todo will come to bust you out. Start working your way down. There is a store on the 3rd floor (upper left side). Once you get to the first floor, you'll encounter the boss again. However, before you battle him, you'll have to fight two ther enemies. They are not difficult, but they can do a LOT of damage. Use regualr attacks and heal. Do not use up your MP on kendo attacks on these guys. Wait until the real boss. You will need as much MP as you can get. Once you are done here, you'll be back at the starting area. Your next transporatation sphere is on the 3rd floor of the school. You have a fairly easy boss to beat to get to it. In the new area, there is a hotel in the lower left. South east of where you entered this area there is a dark city. At the back is a lighted 7 story tower. Atop the tower is a boss. beat the boss and you've finished this part. Part 10. You're still on top of the tower, make your way down to the bottom and exit the dark city. Outside will be a transportation sphere to take you back. You can save or do a little bit of exploring before you do that, if you want (there doesn't appear to be anything to explore). Enter the sphere when ready, Part 11. Back to the starting place. The next sphere is on the second floor (directly beneath where the last sphere brought you back to). It is unguarded. So saving and leveling up is a good idea at this point. As in the last part, enter the sphere when ready. You'll start off on a bridge. Going south, then east takes you to leprichan city complete with a hotel and shop. Save, and go back to the bridge. When you get half way across, you'll meet your next boss, Lobster Girl. She'll shred your power suits, so you'll need to transform again. After doing so, she's pretty easy to beat. Beat her, go back to town and save and continue on across the bridge. Things get a little weird here. After crossing the bridge, all of the girls will be hit with arrows. As the Dog, yo need to wake them all up. In doing so, you'll get a brief look into what each was dreaming about. Bizarre. Go back to town and save again before continuing. North of the bridge you will find a fairly complex forest maze. In most cases if you take the wrong path, you can easily get back to town (and there is a "hotel" in the middle of this maze, however I believe you can only use it once), save, recover your MP/HP and try again. Eventually you'll come to a forest clearing with a bunch of elves in it (most are sleeping). there is also a shop here (that is empty, initially). In the North east corner of this area is Todo (sleeping, of course). Wake him and prepare to battle "Robin Hood." After beating her, you'll get a lot of cinemas/stills, and then automatically be transported back to the starting area. The next area to get to is on the basement of the office building (left of the school). Go to the closed door in the upper right corner of teh first floor, Hikari will open it. You'll go in (you'll lose the canine), but right after Mai reveals the stariway to the basement, a familiar friend will join you. Now look out, because he will be weak. So, you'll probably need to level him 9and the rest) up a bit before going on. The first part of the basement is a simple maze, but there are paths that lead to dead ends. Eventually you'll make it to the third floor where the maze continues; beware the look is the complete opposite of what you are probably expecting, the walkways are the blue paths, not the grey ones. So if when you enter 3F you move forward, then back you'll end up on 2F again, instead you'll need to move down to reach the walkway. Follow the maze (again, a fairly simple one) down to the north part of 4F, and you'll eventually reach the lair. A short conversation follows and you'll be transported out of the maze to where you started. You cannot go anywhere but toward the exit where you will meet up with Todo. Talk to him and you can leave. You are now ready for the final battle! Go to the area in front of the save spot and it will happen automatically. The final boss takes about 7000 points to beat (I used 7160 on him). A good strategy to use is (if you are leveled up all the way [50] before entering this final area is to use your "Defend" and "Run Away" battle options; no sense losing HP during fights that aren't going to help you anyway. Then attack with Kendou Attacks and heal as needed (most characters when hit will lose 2500 HP or so; Hikari can lose over 6000, so be sure to have Saya's 4000 HP heal spell ready to use on Hiakri if needed. After you beat him, watch the ending sequence, let the credits roll and then watch the ending (a longer, better version of the opening animation that uses much of the animation and stills from the game). After you restart the game you'll also notice that the ending will play rather than the beginning animation sequene, you'll also notice a slightly different title screen. Congratulations.
